Budnick Converting, Inc., headquartered in Columbia, IL (in the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area), is a privately held and female owned corporation. Budnick’s primary focus is specialty converting of adhesive coated tapes and foams. POSITION PURPOSE: As a marketing intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing within the adhesive tape converting industry. You will work closely with our marketing team to assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and initiatives aimed at promoting our capabilities and enhancing our brand presence. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your passion for marketing with your creativity, as you’ll assist in developing and executing both print and digital materials that showcase our capabilities in innovative ways.
QUANTITATIVE DATA: Must be able to remain in stationary sitting position for 75% of the time. Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such copy machine and computer printer. This position requires frequent communication with other employees; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Essential Functions:
- Support the development of marketing collateral, such as presentations, flyers, and blog posts.
- Assist in organizing trade shows and other marketing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales & Customer Service to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of digital marketing content and campaigns across various platforms including social media, email marketing, and our website.
- Help manage and update the company’s social media accounts by creating engaging and original content that highlights our capabilities in creative and attention-grabbing ways.
- Collaborate on diverse projects guided by the Marketing Manager and Marketing Communications Coordinator. Tasks may encompass crafting campaign messaging for emails and social media, engaging with marketing platforms, report analysis, market research, and undertaking other assignments as needed.
Other Responsibilites:

- In a timely manner, alert the Marketing Manager to conditions that create delays or affect quality, and assist with changes needed to meet established
- Follow all operation standards, department policies and company directives and assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by
Minimum Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an associate or a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
Skills:
- Strong creativity and a passion for marketing, with a keen eye for visual storytelling and experience creating engaging content for these platforms.
- A self-starter with a positive attitude, creative mindset, and a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Knowledge of Canva Content Planner and ActiveCampaign a plus.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
Previous marketing experience, social media experience, or relevant coursework is a plus.

Hours: Days and hours will be mutually agreed upon and will meet the requirements for college credit.

Pay: $15.00 / hr. or College Credit
