Saint-Gobain NORSEAL® FS1000 series are proprietary fire stopping intumescent foam tapes. These high-performance foam tapes are designed with a unique combination of sealing properties. FS1000 is expandable and fire resistant, blocking smoke, air and water. In its natural state, FS1000 is available in various thicknesses. It is soft, conformable, and easy to attach to complex surfaces. FS1000 is often used to protect automotive battery packs and fuel tanks and Aerospace seats, freight compartments, and other areas. FS1000 foam tape is also used in construction wall joints, ceilings, windows, doors, and many other areas requiring compartmenting.
